The Overland Track is an 80 kilometre, five-to-seven day walk from Cradle Valley to Lake St. Clair in the northwest. It is widely regarded as one of the world's best walks and attracts bushwalkers from around the world.
Between 1 November and 30 April each year, to ensure the sustainability of the walk and the quality of the experience, you must register to walk. Numbers are limited and walkers must walk from north to south. You will also need to purchase a National Parks Pass.
