What day does Salamanca Market operate?
Salamanca Market operates every Saturday along Salamanca Place in Hobart, rain, hail or shine. It is open from 8:30am to 3pm and has some of the best arts, crafts, food and flowers in Tasmania. It is also a great spot for breakfast or lunch.
Please note that as Christmas Day falls on a Saturday this year (2006), Salamanca Market has been moved to Boxing Day (Sunday the 26 December). The Hobart City Council will also be offering Salamanca Market on Sunday 2 January in addition to Saturday, 1 January 2007 to celebrate the New Year.
