Allonah Retreat on Bruny Island offers budget hostel-style accommodation with flexibility to meet your needs.

Allonah Retreat features two bedrooms with double bunks, able to accommodate five people per room. These rooms can be shared or privately occupied. There is also a recreation room with TV, DVD, fridge, lounges and tea and coffee facilities. You can also make use of the microwave, barbecue and oven, and crockery and cutlery is provided. Enjoy your meals or relax on the covered veranda while enjoying the glorious views.

Take an easy stroll to the beach which is only five minutes away. It is very clean and child friendly. You can fish, swim, snorkel or just relax on the sand. Kayaks, paddleboats, fishing rods and bicycles are available for hire. Or visit the town centre of Alonnah and see the History Room or enjoy a picnic in the park.

Bruny Island has many beaches and walks to enjoy, and there are large areas of parks to visit, including South Bruny National Park, with an abundance of wildlife all around the island.

Alonnah is located on Bruny Island, reachable by boarding the ferry at Kettering – a 40 minute drive (32 kilometres/20 miles) south of Hobart.
