Anstey Barton is a grand sandstone mansion at Kettering 30 minutes drive south of Hobart.

Anstey Barton is situated on 15 acres of garden and parkland. It has three sunny double ensuite bedrooms overlooking the waters of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island.

Anstey Barton has an interesting history: the sandstone comes from the original family mansion built in 1824 in the Midlands. The home was dismantled and moved stone by stone to Kettering.

Your accommodation tariff includes: refreshments when you arrive, pre-dinner drinks, a three-course dinner featuring fresh Tasmanian rock lobster or other seasonal delicacies and quality Tasmanian wines.

You are invited for a complimentary morning or afternoon sail in our yacht on the channel. After a day of sailing, walking or fishing you can relax on the balcony and watch native wood ducks, white-faced herons and plovers. After dinner and a game of billiards we can take you on a spotlight tour to see shy Tasmanian wildlife whose day is just beginning.

Anstey Barton is ideally located to explore the southeast corner of Tasmania, historic Richmond and New Norfolk, the convict settlement of Port Arthur, Bruny Island, the beautiful Huon Valley, Hastings Caves and the great southern rainforests.
