Tasmania is the easiest place to explore if you are travelling with a pack on your back. Room types vary from lodge to lodge. Some offer dormitory rooms; others provide a choice of dormitory, double, twin and single rooms. In most cases, bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared and there are communal dining, kitchen and living areas. Many offer laundry facilities.
