Beachside Retreat is an ocean-frontage cattle property and wildlife retreat three kilometres from Stanley on Tasmania's northwest coast.
Here you can experience collecting fresh wild oysters, swimming in the heated, salt water lap pool or tidal lagoons, relaxing in the outdoor spa, fishing or bird watching in the inlet. Numerous birds, including white-breasted sea eagles, inhabit the isolated shoreline and wildlife abounds.
Accompany your host Chris, on a half or full day tour by Mercedes Benz four wheel drive, into the Tarkine Wilderness or Rocky Cape National Park.
For couples, four contemporary-style, award winning ecocabins and luxury nature cabins (one with its own spa pool) are sited on the sand dunes overlooking the ocean.
A spacious three bedroom lodge, adjacent to the property homestead and 30 metres from the beach, is available for two couples and a single guest. All accommodation is self-catering with private facilities, outdoor decks and electric barbecues. Smoking is not permitted. Complimentary WiFi is available at the homestead.
The owners, Chris and Janette are committed to preserving the environment and invite you to stay a few days on their beautiful property.
As a retreat and working cattle property, bookings are for a minimum of two nights. Advance bookings are required.
