Kirsty’s Cottage provides bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Ross Village, Tasmania.

Kirsty’s cottage has two quaint bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second room has two single beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The bathroom has a two-way entrance, enabling it to be accessed as an en suite from the master bedroom. Kirsty's Cottage has been in constant use for over 120 years as a private home, bakery and more recently a coffee shop. It is of timber construction with the main rooms entirely timber lined, including the ceilings. This provides a warm feel, combined with the inviting log fire in the living area.

Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a plate of ‘bakery goodies’ on arrival. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and hot bread direct from the Bakery. Make use of the outdoor setting in the cottage garden or wander down to the historic Ross Bridge to feed the ducks. Try your luck at fishing in the Macquarie River that flows beside the village.

The cottage was built in 1880 and is about one hour and 15-minutes drive north of Hobart (121 kilometres/75 miles).
