Prosser Holiday Units are homely fully equipped holiday units overlooking the Prosser River, at Orford. Also a fully self-contained holiday house with a large living area, sleeps six in three double bedrooms, and has an undercover balcony with barbecue.
An ideal base, just fourty five minutes from Hobart Airport, one hour to Hobart, visit Salamanca Market, Cadburys Chocolate Factory, and visit historic Richmond Village. One hour to Port Arthur and the convict ruins, or to Freycinet National Park and it’s scenic walking tracks.
Nearby is Maria Island so why not pack a picnic lunch, catch the ferry, spend the day exploring this fascinating historic island national and marine park. Beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, ideal for walking and cycling, with two great peaks to climb.
Within close proximity to beaches, fishing, restaurants, supermarket, golf and bowls club. Bring your boat, bikes, boogie board and boots. Orford and the Prosser River is great for fishing and water skiing, surfing, bike riding or walking, a must walk is along the Old Convict Road beside the river.
