Taras Richmond Farmstay is an eco-friendly farmstay just three minutes from historic Richmond. Just 25 minutes from Hobart, we are on a small farm where you can rest comfortably in the peaceful, clean and light, north-facing one-bedroom apartment, which is wheel-chair friendly with level access throughout, wide walkways and accessible bathroom facilities.
You will be able to interact with farmyard animals and get involved in fruit and berry picking when in season. Admire the 360 degree views over the paddocks to Mount Wellington and surrounding countryside. Loads of local attractions including famous coal-valley wineries, Zoo Doo, local produce markets, and of course Richmond itself with its history, museums, galleries, cafe's and river-bank walks. Taras Richmond Farmstay is also a central location for easy day trips to Hobart, Port Arthur, East Coast and Derwent Valley.
