Villarett Gardens offers bed and breakfast accommodation at Moltema near Elizabeth Town, in Tasmania’s north.

Villarett Gardens is an elegant guest cottage tucked away in a quiet corner of a lovely garden in a peaceful rural area. The cottage has two bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities and limited cooking facilities. Breakfast can be provided and a quaint A-frame teahouse offers home cooked treats for luncheon, afternoon tea and dinner.

The profusion of flowers is overwhelming as you wander through acres of roses, herbaceous borders and rockeries, complete with lake and fountain, herb garden, folly, native and exotic trees and shrubs planted around older Purple Beech, Holly and English Oak trees, established early this century. What a wonderful retreat to indulge your senses and relax.

A fine arts gallery exhibits work by some of Tasmania’s finest artists and crafts workers here.

Take a walk and breathe deeply the fresh country air, or drive for a row on Lake Barrington, or to explore the restful scenery of the Mid-North of Tasmania. Nearby tempt your taste buds - taste some of Tasmania’s finest award winning cheeses, and visit a local raspberry farm where the only problem will be choosing which raspberry delight.
