Westeria Cottage

Westeria Cottage is a self-contained cottage in the town of Ellendale in southern Tasmania. It is a compact three bedroom cottage featuring queen, double and king single rooms, sleeping up to five people.

Westeria is located just ten minutes by car from one of Tasmania’s beautiful lakes, the Meadowbank where you can try your hand at trout fishing. Just 15 minutes away and you’re walking beneath the giant man ferns through the rain forest to Russell Falls, Horse Shoe Falls and Lady Baron Falls in the Mt Field National Park or 45 minutes and you could be standing under one of Australia’s largest standing trees in the Styx Valley at Maydena.

Westeria Cottage was built in circa 1900 and has been fully restored keeping many original features including pressed tin ceilings and Baltic pine lined walls. Your accommodation features a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and complete with a wood fire for the cosy nights of a Tasmanian winter.

The separate lounge features a large plasma television and electric heating. The bathroom has a corner spa and laundry facilities.

Guests enjoy complete privacy in the lovely rural area with under cover parking in an enclosed secure yard.
