Multi-day Walks

Tasmania is a walkers' paradise. There are dozens of walks to choose from, but there are a few iconic ones that many walkers want to do in their lifetime:

The Overland Track: covering over 65 kilometres (40 miles) of the finest mountain wilderness in Australia, the Overland Track, in Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park, is Australia's premier bushwalk.

Freycinet Peninsula Circuit: this famous walk takes you along the pink granite length of this famous coastline in Freycinet National Park.

Tasman Coastal Trail: this walk takes you along the steep dolorite seacliffs from Waterfall Bay to Fortescue Bay in the Tasman National Park.

South Coast and Port Davey Tracks: these tracks lie within the Southwest National Park and take you through the heart of more than 600,000 hectares of wild, inspiring country.

Frenchmans Cap Walk: the shining quartzite dome of Frenchmans Cap is a major goal for many hardy bushwalkers.

You may want to begin your warm-up for our iconic multi-day walks with some of our short walks.  Or you may just prefer something less challenging.
