St Columba Falls State Reserve

St Columba Falls cascade over granite ledges, through forests of tree ferns, sassafras and myrtles.

You can see the 90-metre (295-foot) falls from the car park, where there is a small picnic area. A short walking track takes you to a viewing platform.

Nearby are the beautiful forests of the Blue Tier, the Chinese mining heritage of the Trail of the Tin Dragon, and the wonderful cheeses of Pyengana, whose cloth-wrapped vintage cheddar has been produced continuously since 1895.

How to Get to St Columba Falls

St Columba Falls are 25 kilometres (15.5 miles) west of St Helens on the A3 then 10 kilometres (six miles) along the gravel C428. If you continue along the C428, you can visit the Mount Victoria Forest Reserve and Ralphs Falls before arriving at Ringarooma.
