McLachlan Studio

McLachlan Studio jewellery is designed and handmade at our studio near Deloraine in northern Tasmania. Our studio and gardens are set amongst the rolling hills of the Meander Valley on the banks of the Meander River. The studio’s wide windows give sweeping views of our parkland garden and provide light and warmth in the gallery, creating a beautiful space to design, make and view our jewellery.

We work with precious metals, gemstones, pearls and white and champagne diamonds to create beautiful and elegant jewellery.

McLachlan Studio also designs rings on a commission basis, developing designs with the client, selecting stones specific to the commission and hand making the ring in our studio.

Our jewellery is represented in public and private collections throughout Australia, including a number of pieces in the Australian National Gallery collection and we have twice been awarded the Tasmanian Business Award for Art.

We welcome you to visit the studio, to drive along the tree-lined Meander River and arrive at our garden. Spend time viewing our jewellery and see where the creative process of designing and hand making each piece takes place.
