A great time and worth every cent
We took the trip around Tasman Island last week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Your staff enjoy their job, we felt so very welcome and the trip is full of great surprises (big and small).

Tasman Island Cruises offers a spectacular three-hour cruise along the Tasman Peninsula coastline, Southern Tasmania.

Winner of Tasmania's best product development for 2008, this Pennicott Wilderness Journey takes you for a cruise the extraordinary coastline of Tasman National Park, between Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur.

Close encounters with the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere, wild and spectacular coastal landscapes, waterfalls, deep sea caves, amazing wildlife on land and sea.  Gaze up the spectacular dolerite cliffs at Cape Pillar, marvel at the towering sea stacks such as Cathedral Rock, the Totem Pole and Candlestick and glide in and out of sea caves.

A major highlight of your coastal wilderness experience will be Tasman Island, one of the great landmarks of the southern Ocean, an iconic turning point for Sydney to Hobart yachtspersons.

You will join in the search for the abundant sea and coastal wildlife such as seals, dolphins, migrating whales, birds of prey, albatross and many other varieties of sea birds.

The team at Tasman Island Cruises are dedicated to providing world-class customer service. From the time you hop on their bus or arrive at the booking centre you will know that your enjoyment and safety is paramount. Our local seafaring boat crew share a deep love of the ocean and coast, with extensive experience and skills in reading the moods of the sea.  They'll make sure you enjoy every moment of your cruise.

The distinctive yellow boats are safe, comfortable and sea-kindly vessels. Purpose built for the rugged coast of southern Tasmania, their unmatched maneuverability gets you closer to cliff faces and into deep sea caves.

The business owner, Robert Pennicott is passionate about sustainable operation and sharing a proportion business profits for the conservation and management of the environment he operates in.  Establishing the Tasmanian Coast Conservation Fund in 2007, Robert has since donated $65,000 which is being used by Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife on an important conservation project on Tasman Island. This business is 100% carbon offset, Ecotourism Australia accredited and has been awarded EC3 Green Globe Lite Operator status achieving well in excess of best practice results.

Drive to Port Arthur by car to take the three-hour eco-cruise or join one of the full-day tours from Hobart.
Or have the ultimate Port Arthur experience, a 3 hour wilderness cruise and a visit to Port Arthur Historic Site all in one day.
