Laudslaw Cottage provides self-contained beach holiday accommodation in Lauderdale, 15 minutes’ drive from Hobart in southern Tasmania.

In a secluded setting on the south bank of Lauderdale Canal, Laudslaw Cottage is available for your exclusive use. The cottage has two bedrooms and accommodates up to five guests with a main bedroom and bunk room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, cosy lounge and dining room with pot belly fire and electric heater as well as a bathroom with a deep bath tub. Internet and phone access are provided.

A sunny verandah and outdoor dining areas can be enjoyed all year round. A brazier is provided for barbecues and outdoor entertaining. Enjoy a romantic getaway or have the family join you at your own beach house! You’re welcome to pitch a tent for extra family members. The property is ideally located for access to the beach, river and canal and is a short walk to fine restaurants and delicatessens. It is a perfect base for day trips down the Tasman Peninsula to Port Arthur Historic Site, and to Richmond and the Coal River Valley wineries. Lauderdale is also the gateway to the southern surf beaches.
