An exhibition of 28 paintings by Launceston artist Bea Maddock. The exhibition includes landscapes, figure studies, portraits, paintings with religious subjects and abstracts.

Bea Maddock was known and respected as an innovative and technically accomplished printmaker. The exhibition provides a wonderful opportunity to view Bea's early paintings, many of which have not been on public display for years. The vast majority of the paintings were donated to the QVMAG by the artist.

The Bea Maddock Catalogue Raisonne Volume 1 1951–1983 is available to purchase from the Museum and Art Gallery Shops or by downloading the attached form. The book, which retails for $99, includes a listing of all 918 works of art created by the artist between 1951–1983 and is accompanied by a DVD of over 1000 images of the artist's work.
