The romantic and the neoclassical come together in this concert of chamber music gems by composers from two different epochs and vastly different musical outlooks. String and Wind Principals of the TSO team up with pianist Piers Lane for Brahms’s rapturous Piano Quartet in G minor and Poulenc’s graceful Sextet.

Federation Concert Hall is the home of the TSO and its principal performance venue in Tasmania. A tiered auditorium on two levels with a seating capacity of 1100, it was opened in 2001 and in recent years has been enhanced through a program of acoustic improvements.
