Bridport Gold Multisport Event

After a very successful race in 2012 we are sure it will only be bigger and better. After listening to feedback from you, the competitors, we have modified the course slightly. In 2013 we will have a Sprint and Endurance event which run concurrently.

So come and swim, run and paddle around the beauty of Bridport. See why it is such a jewel in the crown of the North East.

At this time of the year the conditions are perfect for water events; warm water and calm seas.

the senior event (16 years or older) begins with a 2 km open water swim, followed by a 2km run along the Bridport estuary on a pebble track. It’s then back into the water for a 14km paddle (surf ski, kayak etc). The paddle may be lengthened or shortened on the day depending on ocean conditions. The final leg is a run across "the channel" and along the beach almost Tobarnbougle golf course; about 5 km return.
