October will see Appin Hall’s third ‘Celebrate the Child’ variety concert staged at the Burnie Arts & Function Centre.

This year’s show features Australian pop music icons from the 60’s/70’s - Russell Morris, Dinah Lee and Ronnie Burns, supported by local talent – Leah Woodberry, Daniel Lebkowski, Peter Shurley and the Shurlettes, the BrightStars dance troupe and bagpipers Michael Cruickshank and Marjon Peisker.

Other highlights include a special cameo performance by Koko the Clown and a dance demonstration by Australian Junior Dance Champions, Henry Cornish and Charlotte Page.

The event will be hosted by Jo Palmer (SC-TV) and Brett Whiteley.

All proceeds from this event go to Appin Hall Children’s Foundation (Respite Centre) – helping Tassie kids.
