The Launceston Players present this major revival of one of David Williamson's classic comedies.

"Emerald City" tells the story of a writer and his wife who move from Melbourne to Sydney for work opportunities. From the self-styled arts capital of Australia to "Sin City".

It's more than just a clash of cultures. Can two cities so close together be so far part?

Perhaps we have our own Tasmanian answer to that question.

This is David Williamson at his sparkling best directed by Marcus Bower, the director of the Players' highly successful "Don's Party" and with a cast of some of Launceston's best performers.
