GERRY & THE PACEMAKERS - FAREWELL AUSTRALIA TOUR

Showcase Entertainment Group in association with The Harbour Agency are thrilled to announce British pop rock icons Gerry and the Pacemakers will be on tour in 2013 with a 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour of Australia, simply titled ‘YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE’.

The tour will take in 18 venues in all major towns and cities in what promises to be a trip down memory lane, and the end of an era for one of the British Invasion’s most enduring artists.

Gerry and the Pacemakers were a major part of what history now calls ‘The 60’s British Invasion’ along with their friends the Beatles, with songs like How do you do it, I like it, Ferry cross the Mersey and You’ll never walk alone. These simple melodies were the soundtracks to a generation and are the reason why Gerry has achieved such longevity as a popular draw-card on stages worldwide today. The Australian concerts mark the start of his Worldwide Farewell Tour.

Artists have been paired with producers to create sound-to-light installations and performances. This is the third iteration of the project.
