    Santa Claus is coming to Town and George Town Council and the Heritage Isle Credit Union invite all individuals, community groups, community organisations, businesses and industries to join them in the annual Heritage Isle Christmas Parade.

    Last year saw a record number of float entries, and the pararde was a magnificent array of colour, costumes, vehicles and best of all - participants from so many areas of the community.

    The challenge is now on to better last year's parade, and we invite everyone to give consideration to be being a part of this great community event.

    Apart from the fun of being in the parade, there are some great prizes on offer, thanks to the generosity of the event sponsor, Heritage Isle Credit Union.

    The parade will start at 12 noon commencing from the Fire Station; then turn right into Macquarie Street; right into Elizabeth Street and conclude on Regent Square.

    Following the conclusin of the parade and awarding of prizes, Santa Claus will be in attendance in Regent Square for photo opportunities. Bring the children along and get a great photo. Note that only parents/guardians of parents will be permitted to take photographs of their own child.

    After parade entertainment

    Stay around after the parade and enjoy some live music, jumping castles and food stalls.
