Ngaiire

It is only just the beginning for Ngaiire as she has just about finished recording her debut album, Drawing from eclectic influences to create her own brand of indie infused soul.

Ngaiire migrated to Australia from Papua New Guinea at the fresh age of 16 and was introduced to a plethora of styles of music that were so new to her that she inhaled and fell in love with everything that was put in front of her. Ngaiire went on to study for a music degree at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music then moved to Sydney where immediately she was invited to tour with prominent Australian bands. One of these bands being electronic maestro Paul Mac whom she says became her mentor.

With a voice described as a powerful and soulful 'mourning', she creates a live experience both theatrical and musical with beautiful harmonies and band arrangements.
