St Helens Regatta and Woodchopping Carnival

This Regatta just gets bigger and better. This is a great day out for the family – plenty of food at good prices and heaps of activities & racing events for all age groups.

Sideshow rides for the kids and Jimbo the Clown will keep families well and truly engaged.

Other events include, swimming races, kickboard races, and inner tube races for the kids.

Sailing demonstrations by Tamar Small Yachts.

Dragon Boats Abreast will also be there.

For the adults the Cock of the Bay Sail Race, and the Sail and Run races. Win yourself some money.

Get a team together and build a raft and Join in the fun of the novelty raft race. Or enter a team in the Tug – O- War Challenge.

Why not try your hand at the Cray Pot Toss.

During the day stage demonstrations include: local dance group, line dancers, karate exhibition and jumba.

Marita Mangano Band will take to the stage for the night’s entertainment.

Go in the draw for the Lucky Gate Prizes. Grab some tickets in the Chocolate wheel and the Auction – great prizes to be won.

Enjoy the Wood Chopping with local and interstate teams competing.

The Regatta closes with a huge fireworks show.
