Tasmanian Creative Arts Summer Schools are entering their seventh year of offering the very best of a summer arts experience to both the public and the university community.
The 2013 Summer School offers participants the opportunity to explore a range of artistic disciplines; from photography, printmaking, jewellery, sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, textiles, furniture design, and musical theatre.
The workshops run from the 7th – 18th January at Inveresk, and culminate in a celebratory exhibition and performance on the final day.
With 13 workshops are on offer, participants are able to choose whether they are assessed for credit towards current or future University studies, or alternatively participate as a one-off non-assessed unit.
Our teaching staff are sourced from amongst Tasmania’s own experienced practicing artists and invited visiting practitioners from the mainland.
As a student of the Tasmanian Creative Arts 2013 Summer School, our flexible enrolment options enable the majority of our workshops and students to be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place, which may give you the opportunity to defer your fees through HECS-HELP.
