The Popes return to Australia for the Port Fairy Folk Festival and the Blue Mountains Music Festival in March 2013
Frontman Paul 'Mad Dog' McGuinness now has three albums under his belt with The Popes, and his energy on stage keeps the band on its toes and the audience on its feet.
Some critics are saying McGuinness has outstripped McGowan in the song writing stakes.
