Womens National Cricket League - Cripps Tasmanian Roar v ACT Meteors.

West Park Oval in Burnie is Located just next to the Bass Strait, so it can get quite cold, especially for night games with it's four light towers. The ground has two stands, both small with the main stand being undercover on the broadcast wing. The open stand on the outer (southern) wing is located behind the grass hill which covers the whole wing. The large scoreboard is situated behind the eastern goals.

The oval hosted two AFL practice matches in the early 1990s, with a record crowd of 10,547 attending the first between Carlton and St Kilda in 1992, and an estimated 8,500 attending the second between Carlton and Melbourne in 1993.
