Despite our population less than 500,000 people, we have one the world’s best small orchestra’s in the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Most communities have regional theatres and you can check the local daily papers while you are visiting. Remember, too, that we have Australia’s oldest lyric theatre in Hobart – The Theatre Royal.
