This four hour morning City Tour’s key focus is Tasmanian produce: stunning cow and goat milk cheeses, sensational cool-climate wines, fresh seafood, charcuterie, pastries and more. Get to know the city, soaking in its history between indulgent tastes. Amongst the venues visited on this progressive feast are the famous Jackman & McRoss patisserie, Cool Wine: an independent downtown wine shop with a huge local following, and a tiny shop full of Tasmanian wonderfulness, A Common Ground. This tour is a brilliant introduction to Hobart and all the delicious things it has to offer!

Gourmania Food Tours introduces a new afternoon tour “Tea to Tapas”. This three hour tour starts with divine afternoon tea and grazes its way through providores and restaurants showcasing Hobart’s best and brightest. This tour introduces you to the newest hot spots. Amongst the afternoons experiences, expect some of Hobart’s best coffee at the groovy espresso bar, Yellow Bernard, delicious tastes in an intriguing converted stable, at Ethos Eat Drink, and delectable innovative treatments of seasonal local produce courtesy of award-winning chef Luke Burgess at Garagistes.
This tour not only celebrates Tasmanian produce such as Pigeon Hole artisanal bread, freshly shucked Bruny Island oysters, locally bred Wessex saddleback pork, or perhaps some foraged edible flowers; there is also a distinctive international flavour as we sample the best-of imported goods: fabulous teas, French and Italian cheeses, and maybe something decadently chocolate! Your afternoon delightfully lands you with a glass of wine in hand and your evening ahead of you.
