Car Hire:

Major international and national rental companies operate in Tasmania, and there are many specialist local businesses ready to assist with your hire needs.

Campervan/Motorhomes:

A popular way to explore Tasmania is by campervan and there are a number of operators to choose from. Stage lengths are easy and there is a good range of camp sites with every facility  for the 'nomad' traveller.

Motorcycle Hire:

Another exciting way to travel the Island is by motorcyle - roads are good and there are several notably exciting rides, many challenging contours or the scenic open-air pleasure of the East Coast. Try an easy saunter down the historic Heritage Highway (Midlands), or the thrill of a quick climb up Mount Wellington.

Most riders make a base in either Hobart or Launceston, doing day trips to explore the sights; returning to the comfort of night-time relaxation and a full shake down after a great day on the road. Experienced riders will appreciate Tasmania's varied terrain.
