Profile: As an Australian, I have a special perspective and knowledge of my home country, and what it offers to visitors.  I first visited Tasmania back in 1961 and have returned numerous times.  I‘ve traveled around most of Tasmania over the years and worked closely with local operators to set up tours in the island state, both from here in the US and when I owned an adventure tour company in Australia.  There’s always something fresh and new in Tassie, from caving and wildlife to fine wines and seafood.  I’d be delighted to share my special knowledge of Tasmania with you.

 Profile: If you go to Australia and don’t visit Tasmania, you are short-changing yourself!  In May 2004 I spent 10 days there and now refer to it as “The Other Australia”.  It’s everything you desire in a destination.  The food is world-class, the wines exceptional.  Its natural beauty from the skies over Cradle Mountain to the misty trails in the Huon rainforest to the cleanest air in the world - Tasmania has it!  I know this destination intimately from cruises on the Gordon River, to B&B’s, to downtown hotels.  I have experienced Tasmania and discovered the world’s best getaway!
