Built-in 1896 for Strahan’s Harbour Master, Captain Edward Miles, Franklin Manor exudes the character of a bygone era, with original stained glass windows, high ceilings and delightful timberwork. It offers boutique accommodation with large lounges and open fires, providing a timeless ambience for guests to interact with others. Each guest room has an ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and most enjoy views over the grounds. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the private veranda and historical gardens planted more than 100 years ago. Franklin Manor is an exclusive retreat for travellers who wish to enjoy the remoteness of Strahan and the many activities offered by the rugged West Coast.
